Ladies Only

On Monday evening I landed back in London town after being away travelling for 10 months. Now for a beauty and fashion obsessed girl, living out of a backpack is very hard work. I managed to come home with a whole extra suitcase full of clothes and nail varnish's that I bought out in Australia realising not taking my own was a mistake.

Coming back to home comforts was the best feeling. My lovely mother had taken the week off and treated us both to a day at the Sanctuary Ladies only spa, we were there for the whole day and had two  treatments, the first was the Hammam Rasul Experience which was lovely where your taken to a private steam room where you have a choice of body masks and sit in the steam room for half an hour then you come out and have a selection of body and face oils and lotions to apply whilst drinking a herbal cocktail. The second treatment was Hot Lava Shell Massage which was one of the most soothing messages I've ever had, using hot shells I had a 55min full body massage. We also had a small lunch and some fruit smoothies and spent the rest of the day leisurely going between pool, steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi's.

This was a perfect way to help my aching limbs after a 24 hour journey home. I would recommend this to anyone who fancies just a quiet day to themselves or hen parties they even do special mum to be treatments which we took my sister in law to last year when she was expecting. you can even go for a half day and don't have to book any treatments but to lay around all day and use the spa facilities, you not allowed phones in the spas so makes the perfect day to relax and unwind without the pressures of any technology.

Have you been to the sanctuary or any other day spas you could recommend?
